What we believe.

Martin Luther had three things to say about it.

Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.

GRACE: That we are saved by the grace of God because we cannot save ourselves (and we do need saving).

FAITH: That we have faith to believe in God’s grace, to trust God for our salvation.

SCRIPTURE: That the Bible is God’s inspired word to guide our faith and life.

Beyond these, we believe that God is revealed in three persons; God the Creator, Jesus the Savior and the Holy Spirit, together called the Trinity, all working in the world today. We believe the Church is the Body of Jesus Christ on earth. That worship is when we gather as the body to experience God’s presence specifically through baptism and communion (sacraments). That all believers are saints and when we don’t act like it, there is forgiveness, both from God and from and for each other. We believe that prayer is intimate communication with God. And we believe that we are here for others.
