On behalf of our Church, Welcome to the Zion Lutheran Church web site!
Zion Lutheran Church is a worshiping community of God’s people in the North Stockton, CA. We daily look to Jesus as the good shepherd, who desires throughout our lives to guide, nurture and challenge us, and who will one day welcome us into his heavenly kingdom. We believe that by his Holy Spirit our Lord’s presence is made known in our midst through the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion, the Word of God as it is preached, sung and taught, and through the people of this community.
We would love to have you come to our community for worship and other activities, if you have not already done so!
Moreover, we would also welcome you to call us (whether member, friend of the church, or simply a “web surfer”) if there is any way we can be of assistance, such as if:
- You would like to be prayed for either personally, or by our church’s prayer ministry.
- You are interested in learning more about child or adult baptism.
- You are interested in the youth programs of our church.
- You or a loved one is ill and would appreciate being visited.
- You are in need of assistance following the death of a loved one.
- You have questions about the Bible, the Christian faith, who “Lutherans” are, etc.
- You are searching with spiritual questions, or are looking for a church home.
