For The Sake Of Art (FTSOA) is an outreach ministry that teaches art to individuals of all ages. Classes cover a wide variety of styles (including drawing, painting, crafts and sculpturing) as well as mediums (acrylics, oils, charcoal, pastels, pencil, ink, etc.).
All classes are FREE to attend, and all skill levels are welcome.
Classes for Children
For grades 1-8. Held every Monday* afternoon between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. These classes are great for kids with an interest in art.
Classes for Teens & Adults
For high school students and adults, these classes are held the First Saturday* of the month between 10 a.m. and Noon. Have an interest in art or want to improve your skills? These classes are a great opportunity for all experience levels.
FTSOA Summer Art Camp
Our annual FTSOA Summer Art Camp is a fun-filled four days of hands on art instruction with an emphasis on a particular theme and/or artist.
The Art Camp is for children grades 1st thru 8th, and refreshments and snacks are provided for attendees. The classes run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.
There is no cost for kids to attend, however pre-registration is required. Please contact the church office during normal office hours for more information or to register your kids.
For The Sake Of Art (FTSOA) Student Art Show
The FTSOA Student Art Show features art work done by both the children and adult students. This free event is a great opportunity to see what the students do in our classes.
